CANCELLATION POLICY

Running Late?
Please know that, when you schedule with us, we have reserved time just for you and your pet. All clients appreciate having their full appointment time with the doctor.
If you are running late, please call ahead and let us know -- often, we can still accommodate you and your pet without inconveniencing or sacrificing time with our other pet parents. Occasionally, however, we may ask you to reschedule.

Many of our clients come from a distance. Please plan ahead for travel time as traffic can be unpredicatable.
Cancellation Notice
Should you need to cancel your appointment, please give us the courtesy of notifying us at least 2 business days prior to your appointment so that other waiting pets may have the opportunity for ophthalmic care.

Two business days' notice means that appointments scheduled for a Monday or Tuesday must be cancelled by the end of the previous work week on a Thursday or Friday, respectively. The office is closed by 1pm Friday afternoons. Voicemails or other notices left over the weekend will be treated as insufficient notice.
Cancellation Fees
If 2 business days' notice is not received, a cancellation fee of $75.00 will be applied for missed exam appointments, $225.00 fee for missed surgery appointments.
Cancellation fees must be paid in full prior to rescheduling.

Appointment Reminders and Confirmations
We know that life can get busy! To help you, the Eye Clinic will attempt to remind you of your appointment via your preferred contact method. We request that, when you hear from us, you please respond and confirm your appointment.

Ultimately, it remains your responsibility to keep track of scheduled appointments. However, we understand that unanticipated life events happen occasionally. Emergency cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

We Value Your Time
We strive to provide ophthalmic care in a timely fashion. Some pets may require longer evaluations than others depending upon the nature of their eye problem and their temperament. Regardless, all pets will receive quality, compassionate eye care tailored to meet both the patient and the family's needs.
